Luxe Magazine and the Dania Beach Design District selected Florida's top Design experts to be featured in the Military Room Makeover Event to take place on November 5th from 12 pm to 1 pm at the Dania Beach Design District.

On November 5th the Dania Beach Design District, in partnership with the City of Dania Beach and supported by 8 different Chambers of Commerce in  conjunction with many local charities and corporate sponsors, will hold their the Grand Opening on site at the Dania Beach Design and Marine Center which will also be  in honor  of our local Military Veterans for Veterans day weekend. Come one - Come all!

We just signed a lease with Sky Gaming USA, a distributor of slot machines and other gaming devices. They will take 1,750 square feet beginning 9/1/2011.

We signed a 5-year, 5,000 sq ft lease with Lake Doctors, Inc. We will be doing some build out of a conference room for them and they will start on October 1st, 2011. They service lakes and ponds and treat the aquatics for proper chemistry, algae growth. They also stock fish and install decorative fountains and have been in business over 30 years and are relocating to DBDC from Oakland Park, FL.

On Wed. June 29th, Levy Realty Advisors and the property owners, hosted a networking event for the tenants of “The Dania Beach Design District” at the on-site event facility known as the “White Space” which was graciously donated by tenant, Dan Cohen owner and operator of Uplyte the 10,000 SF event facility located at the Dania Beach Design and Marine Center. Craig Urbine , President of the Dania Beach Design District and Leslie Loewenthal, President of the PR firm, The Loewenthal Agency spoke extensively on the various efforts that are being made to promote the Design District, to announce up-coming events and marketing efforts which they are making to help brand the newly formed District and to bring the District into the limelight and enhance public awareness.

We are pleased to announce the latest acquisition and addition to the Levy Realty Advisors, Inc. portfolio. On behalf of one its long time private equity investment groups, Alan Levy was successful in completing the acquisition of the 21,000 SF retail/showroom property in the heart of the Dania Beach Design District at 1245-1249 Stirling Rd., Dania Beach across the street from the Dania Beach Design and Marine Center. Levy Realty Advisors, Inc. has been appointed as Exclusive Property Manager and Leasing Agent. The property is slated for major renovations which will attract design professionals and many top quality companies whom are involved in the sale of home goods and furnishings. Levy predicts that after the make over is completed that the design center will become fully occupied and a key component for the continued development of the Design District in the years to come.

On Wed. evening Jan. 19th, Alan Levy along with his management and marketing team, HMG Group and Vnamics, held an important event at the Dania Beach Design and Marine Center to formally announce the forthcoming Dania Beach Design District and to officially launch their Merchants Association. Other than many of the Tenants in attendance for the event were  City of Dania Beach officials Robert Daniels, Jeremy Earle, and Corrine Lajoie. The company will be promoting the newly formed and long anticipated Dania beach Design District and working towards an official Grand Opening of the District in the Fall of 2011.

Imeca Lumber and Hardware just opened its 7th Florida location at the Dania Beach Design and Marine Center.  Catering to the needs of small builders and home repair specialists, Imeca Lumber and Hardware is a great fit for the property as it has supplied many of our existing carpentry related business on site for years.
